The Prophet ﷺ said. Musa said in another place, from Samura bin Jundab, as Hammad believes, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever comes to own a close relative within the prohibited degrees of kinship, that relative becomes free."
[Its isnad is hasan] Reported by Tirmidhi, in the Book of Rulings, chapter on what has been said regarding one who owns a relative within a forbidden degree (Muharram), hadith no. 1365, and Ibn Majah, hadith no. 2524, from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama with this wording. Ibn Jarud graded it sahih, hadith no. 973, as did Hakim, 2/214, and Dhahabi concurred with him.
