Qatada reported,

Umar bin Khattab رضي الله عنه said, "Whoever comes to own a close blood relative within the prohibited degrees of kinship, that relative is automatically free."

[Its chain is daif] Bayhaqi narrated it, 10/89, from the hadith of Abu Dawud through this route. Qatada was born more than thirty years after the martyrdom of Umar رضي الله عنه .
