I came to the Prophet ﷺ with a debtor of mine, and he said to me, "Hold on to him."Then he said to me, "Brother of Banu Tamim, what do you want to do with your captive?"
حدثنا معاذ بن أسد حدثنا النضر بن شميل
أتيت النبي ﷺ بغريم لي فقال لي الزمه ثم قال لي يا أخا بني تميم ما تريد أن تفعل بأسيرك
[Its chain is daif] Ibn Majah narrated it in the Book of Alms, Chapter on Detention for Debt and Persistence, Hadith 2428, from the hadith of Nadr bin Shumayl, with the same wording. Harmas and his father are unknown narrators.
