The Messenger of Allah ﷺ borrowed some coats of armor from him on the day of Hunayn. He asked, "Is this a seizure, Muhammad?"He replied, "No, rather it is a loan that will be returned and guaranteed."

أن رسول الله ﷺ استعار منه أدراعا يوم حنين فقال أغصب يا محمد فقال لا بل عمق مضمونة
Its isnad is daif. Ahmad reported it: 3/400, from Yazid bin Harun, with this chain. Nasai also reported it in Kubra, no. 5779. Qays bin Rabi reported it from Abdul-Aziz bin Rafi with this chain, and Daraqutni: 3/40. The hadith has daif corroborating narrations. Sharik used ambiguous transmission wording (anana), and Qays is daif.
