The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Safwan, do you have any weapons?"Safwan asked, "As a loan or as a seizure?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Rather as a loan."So Safwan lent him between thirty and forty coats of armor. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then went out to fight at Hunayn. When the polytheists were defeated, Safwan's coats of armor were gathered together, but some were found missing. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Safwan, "We have lost some of your coats of armor. Shall we compensate you for them?"Safwan replied, "No, Messenger of Allah, for there is in my heart today what was not there on that day."
