A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I have accepted Islam."The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "Remove from yourself the hair of disbelief," meaning, shave it off.He said, And another person informed me that the Prophet ﷺ said to another man with him, "Remove from yourself the hair of disbelief and be circumcised."
حدثنا مخلد بن خالد حدثنا عبد الرزاق أخبرنا ابن جريج قال أخبرت
أنه جاء إلى النبي ﷺ فقال قد أسلمت فقال له النبي ﷺ ألق عنك شعر الكفر يقول احلق قال وأخبرني آخر أن النبي ﷺ قال لآخر معه ألق عنك شعر الكفر واختتن
[Its chain is daif]. Ahmad narrated it, 3/415, from Abdul-Razzaq, and it is in his Musannaf, 6/10, hadith 9835, and its chain is daif. See Talkhis Habir, 4/82. The hadith has two daif corroborating narrations.
