The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It is not permissible for a woman to give a gift except with her husband's permission."
حدثنا أبو كامل حدثنا خالد يعني ابن الحارث حدثنا حسين عن عمرو بن شعيب أن أباه أخبره
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال لا يجوز لامرأة عطية إلا بإذن زوجها
Sourcing, hasan. See the previous hadith. Nasai also narrated it in the Book of Zakat, Chapter on a Woman Giving a Gift Without Her Husband's Permission, hadith 2541, from the hadith of Khalid bin Harith, with the same wording.
