The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever performs ablution on Friday, that is sufficient and excellent, but whoever takes a full bath, that is better."
حدثنا أبو الوليد الطيالسي حدثنا همام عن قتادة عن الحسن
قال رسول الله ﷺ من توضأ يوم الجمعة فبها ونعمت ومن اغتسل فهو أفضل
Graded hasan. Tirmidhi reported it in the book of Jumuah, chapter on what has been said regarding wudu on the day of Jumuah, no. 497, and Nasai, no. 1381, from the hadith of Qatada with this wording, and Tirmidhi said, Hasan.
