People used to do their own work themselves, and they would head out to the Friday prayer in the same state they were in, so it was said to them, "If only you would bathe."

كان الناس مهان أنفسهم فيروحون إلى الجمعة بهيئتهم فقيل لهم لو اغتسلتم
