Abu Wadi reported,

We set out on one of our military expeditions and made camp at a certain place. A companion of ours sold his horse in exchange for a slave-boy, then both men stayed on for the rest of that day and through the night.The next morning, when it was time to depart, the seller went to his horse to saddle it and regretted the deal. He approached the other man and demanded the horse back, but the man refused to return it.The seller said, "Let Abu Barza, the companion of the Prophet ﷺ, judge between us."So they went to Abu Barza, who was in another part of the camp, and laid the matter before him.He said, "Will you both accept that I judge between you with the ruling of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'The two parties to a sale each have the option to withdraw as long as they have not parted.'"Hisham bin Hassan said, Jamil related that Abu Barza added, "I do not consider that the two of you have parted."

عن أبي الوضيء قال

غزونا غزوة لنا فنزلنا منزلا فباع صاحب لنا فرسا بغلام ثم أقاما بقية يومهما وليلتهما فلما أصبحا من الغد حضر الرحيل فقام إلى فرسه يسرجه فندم فأتى الرجل وأخذه بالبيع فأبى الرجل أن يدفعه إليه فقال بيني وبينك أبو برزة صاحب النبي ﷺ فأتيا أبا برزة في ناحية العسكر فقالا له هذه القصة فقال أترضيان أن أقضي بينكما بقضاء رسول الله ﷺ قال رسول الله ﷺ البيعان بالخيار ما لم يتفرقا قال هشام بن حسان حدث جميل أنه قال ما أراكما افترقتما
