The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The bath on Friday is obligatory upon every person who has reached puberty."
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة بن قعنب عن مالك عن صفوان بن سليم عن عطاء بن يسار
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال غسل يوم الجمعة واجب على كل محتلم
Sourcing, Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Jumuah, chapter "Is ghusl required for one who does not attend Jumuah," Hadith 895, from Abdullah bin Maslama Qanabi. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Jumuah, chapter "The obligation of ghusl for Jumuah upon every adult," Hadith 846, through the hadith of Malik with the same wording, and it is found in Muwatta (Yahya), 1/102.
