The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade mukhabarah.I asked, "What is mukhabarah?"He replied, "That you take land to cultivate in exchange for half, a third, or a quarter of the produce."
حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شيبة حدثنا عمر بن أيوب عن جعفر بن برقان عن ثابت بن الحجاج
نهى رسول الله ﷺ عن المخابرة قلت وما المخابرة قال أن تأخذ الأرض بنصف أو ثلث أو ربع
Its isnad is hasan. Ahmad narrated it 5/187 from the hadith of Jafar bin Barqan, and it is found in Musannaf Ibn Abu Shayba 6/346.
