The Prophet ﷺ forbade the sale of fruits years in advance and ordered the remission of losses caused by natural disasters.

أن النبي ﷺ نهى عن بيع السنين ووضع الجوائح
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Transactions, Chapter on Waiving Losses from Natural Disasters (Wad al-Jawaih), Hadith: 17/1554, after Hadith: 1555, from the hadith of Sufyan in abridged form, and it is also found in Musnad Ahmad: 309/3.
