The Prophet ﷺ forbade muawamah. One of the two narrators said it means selling crops years in advance.
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا حماد عن أيوب عن أبي الزبير وسعيد بن ميناء
أن النبي ﷺ نهى عن المعاومة وقال أحدهما بيع السنين
Muslim narrated it in Musaqah, chapter: Placing (the loss of) crop damage, hadith no. 1554, from the hadith of Abu Zubayr, through him.
