The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever revives dead land, it belongs to him, and an unjust planter has no right."
حدثنا محمد بن المثنى حدثنا عبد الوهاب حدثنا أيوب عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه
عن النبي ﷺ قال من أحيا أرضا ميتة فهي له وليس لعرق ظالم حق
[Its isnad is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it, in the Book of Rulings, in the chapter on what is mentioned regarding the reviving of dead land, hadith no. 1378, from the hadith of Abdul-Wahhab Thaqafi with this wording, and he said, hasan gharib.
