I came to the Prophet ﷺ and pledged allegiance to him. He said, "Whoever reaches a water source before any other Muslim has reached it, it belongs to him."The people then went out racing one another, marking off boundaries.

[Its chain is daif] Tabarani narrated it in Al-Kabir 1/280, no. 814, through the hadith of Muhammad bin Bashar, with this wording. Diya also included it in Al-Mukhtarah 4/227-228, no. 1434, and the Hafiz graded it hasan in Al-Isabah 1/41.The Hafiz said in Al-Taqrib, "Suwaydah is unknown, and Uqaylah's condition is unknown, and Umm Junub's condition is unknown." I did not find anyone who explicitly confirmed their reliability, so their condition is unknown.
