It is reported from one of the two women that she said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ received some captives, so my sister, Fatimah the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I went to him. We complained to him about the hardship we were enduring and asked him to assign us some of the captives."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "The orphans of Badr have come before you. But I will guide you to something better than that. After every prayer, say takbir thirty-three times, tasbih thirty-three times, and tahmid thirty-three times, and say, 'There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the dominion, to Him belongs all praise, and He has power over all things.'"Ayyash said, "These two women were the cousins of the Prophet ﷺ."
