Zuhri reported,

"For which you spurred neither horse nor camel" [Hashr 59:6]. Salih said, "The Prophet ﷺ made peace with the people of Fadak and certain other villages he named, which I do not remember. He was besieging another people, and they sent to him seeking terms of peace." He said regarding the verse "For which you spurred neither horse nor camel," meaning without fighting.Zuhri said, "The lands of Banu Nadir belonged exclusively to the Prophet ﷺ. They did not conquer them by force but took them through a peace agreement. The Prophet ﷺ distributed them among the Emigrants and gave nothing of them to the Helpers, except to two men who were in need."

عن الزهري في قوله

{فما أوجفتم عليه من خيل ولا ركاب} قال صالح النبي ﷺ أهل فدك وقرى قد سماها لا أحفظها وهو محاصر قوما آخرين فأرسلوا إليه بالصلح قال {فما أوجفتم عليه من خيل ولا ركاب} يقول بغير قتال قال الزهري وكانت بنو النضير للنبي ﷺ خالصا لم يفتحوها عنوة افتتحوها على صلح فقسمها النبي ﷺ بين المهاجرين لم يعط الأنصار منها شيئا إلا رجلين كانت بهما حاجة
