I heard Abu Umama say, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Allah has given every rightful person their due, so there is no bequest for an heir."
حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن نجدة حدثنا ابن عياش
سمعت أبا أمامة سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن الله قد أعطى كل ذي حق حقه فلا وصية لوارث
[Hasan] Tirmidhi transmitted it in the Wasaya, chapter of what has been said about there being no bequest for an heir, hadith no. 2120, from the hadith of Ismail bin Ayyash, with this same chain, and he made clear that he heard it directly, as found in Ahmad, 5/267, and Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih. Ibn Majah also narrated it, hadith no. 2713. Shurahbil is from Syria, and this hadith has many corroborating narrations.
