She went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the expedition of Khaybar as the sixth of six women. News of this reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so he sent for us, and when we came we saw anger on his face.He asked, "With whom did you set out, and by whose permission did you come?"We replied, "Messenger of Allah, we came out to spin hair into thread to assist the cause of Allah. We have with us medicine for the wounded, we hand out arrows, and we serve sawiq."He said, "Get up." Then, when Allah granted him victory at Khaybar, he allotted us a share just as he allotted shares to the men.The narrator said, I asked her, "Grandmother, what was that share?"She replied, "Dates."
حدثنا إبراهيم بن سعيد وغيره قالا أخبرنا زيد بن الحباب قال حدثنا رافع بن سلمة بن زياد حدثني حشرج بن زياد
أنها خرجت مع رسول الله ﷺ في غزوة خيبر سادس ست نسوة فبلغ رسول الله ﷺ فبعث إلينا فجئنا فرأينا فيه الغضب فقال مع من خرجتن وبإذن من خرجتن فقلنا يا رسول الله خرجنا نغزل الشعر ونعين به في سبيل الله ومعنا دواء الجرحى ونناول السهام ونسقي السويق فقال قمن حتى إذا فتح الله عليه خيبر أسهم لنا كما أسهم للرجال قال قلت لها يا جدة وما كان ذلك قالت تمرا
