We went on a military campaign with Walid bin Hisham, accompanied by Salim bin Abdullah bin Umar and Umar bin Abdul-Aziz. A man stole something from the spoils, so Walid ordered that his belongings be burned and that he be paraded in public, and he was not given his share of the spoils.
