The Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and Umar would burn the belongings of one who stole from war spoils and would beat him.

Its isnad is daif. Bayhaqi (9/102) narrated it through Walid bin Muslim.Zuhayr bin Muhammad is truthful, but the people of Sham who narrated from him transmitted disturbing reports from him, and Walid bin Muslim is from Sham.
