When the captives were brought in, Sawda bint Zama was at the home of the family of Afra, in their resting place, with Awf and Muawwidh, the two sons of Afra. This was before the verse of seclusion had been revealed concerning women.Sawda said, "By Allah, I was with them when someone came and said, 'Here are the captives, they have been brought in.' So I returned to my house, where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was, and there was Abu Yazid, Suhayl bin Amr, in a corner of the room, his hands bound to his neck with a rope."Then he mentioned the rest of the hadith.
