A woman was found killed in one of the military expeditions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ condemned the killing of women and children.
حدثنا يزيد بن خالد بن موهب وقتيبة يعني ابن سعيد قالا حدثنا الليث عن نافع
أن امرأة وجدت في بعض مغازي رسول الله ﷺ مقتولة فأنكر رسول الله ﷺ قتل النساء والصبيان
Reported by Muslim in the chapter on jihad and military expeditions, section on the prohibition of killing women and children in war, hadith no. 1744, from Qutayba, and by Bukhari in the chapter on jihad and military expeditions, section on killing children in war, hadith no. 3014, from the hadith of Layth bin Saad, with the same chain.
