The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The most restrained of people in killing are the people of faith."
حدثنا محمد بن عيسى وزياد بن أيوب قالا حدثنا هشيم أخبرنا مغيرة عن شباك عن إبراهيم عن هني بن نويرة عن علقمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ أعف الناس قتلة أهل الإيمان
[Its chain is daif]. Ibn Majah reported it in the Book of Blood Money, in the chapter titled "The most restrained people in killing are the people of faith," hadith 2681, from the hadith of Hushaym, with this chain. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, hadith 1523.Mughira and Ibrahim Nakhai are both mudallis narrators, and here they narrated using "an" without specifying direct hearing. Wahni bin Nuwayrah is obscure, and no one but Ibn Hibban authenticated him. Ibrahim obscured his source for this narration, as shown in Ahmad's version, 1/393.
