The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There is no prize for a race except in camel racing, horse racing, or archery."
حدثنا أحمد بن يونس حدثنا ابن أبي ذئب عن نافع بن أبي نافع
قال رسول الله ﷺ لا سبق إلا في خف أو في حافر أو نصل
[Its chain of transmission is hasan] Tirmidhi narrated it, in jihad, chapter on what has been said about wagers and racing, no. 1700, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Dhib, and he said, hasan, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih.
