Ayesha reported,

I asked Aisha whether the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to perform the ritual bath from major impurity at the beginning of the night or at its end.She replied, "Sometimes he bathed at the beginning of the night, and sometimes he bathed at its end."I said, "Allahu Akbar. Praise be to Allah who has made this matter accommodating."I then asked, "Tell me, did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform the witr prayer at the beginning of the night or at its end?"She replied, "Sometimes he prayed witr at the beginning of the night, and sometimes he prayed it at its end."I said, "Allahu Akbar. Praise be to Allah who has made this matter accommodating."I then asked, "Tell me, did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recite the Quran aloud or silently?"She replied, "Sometimes he recited aloud, and sometimes he recited silently."I said, "Allahu Akbar. Praise be to Allah who has made this matter accommodating."
