Abu Hind cupped the Prophet ﷺ on the crown of his head, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "Sons of Bayadah, give your daughters in marriage to Abu Hind and take wives from his family." He also said, "If there is any good in the remedies you treat yourselves with, it is in cupping."
حدثنا عبد الواحد بن غياث حدثنا حماد حدثنا محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
أن أبا هند حجم النبي ﷺ في اليافوخ فقال النبي ﷺ يا بني بياضة أنكحوا أبا هند وأنكحوا إليه وقال وإن كان في شيء مما تداوون به خير فالحجامة
[Its isnad is hasan] Daraqutni narrated it, 3/300, no. 3752, from the hadith of Hammad bin Salama through this route. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 1249, as did Hakim, 2/164, who said it meets the criteria of Muslim, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
