When he reached the great Jamrah, he placed the House to his left and Mina to his right, then he threw seven pebbles at the Jamrah and said, "This is how the one to whom Surah al-Baqarah was revealed threw them."
حدثنا حفص بن عمر ومسلم بن إبراهيم المعنى قالا حدثنا شعبة عن الحكم عن إبراهيم عن عبد الرحمن بن يزيد
لما انتهى إلى الجمرة الكبرى جعل البيت عن يساره ومنى عن يمينه ورمى الجمرة بسبع حصيات وقال هكذا رمى الذي أنزلت عليه سورة البقرة
Bukhari narrated it in "Hajj," chapter "Throwing the pebbles at the pillars with seven stones," hadith 1748, from Hafs bin, etc., hadith 1296, from the hadith of Umar. Muslim also narrated it in "Hajj," chapter "Throwing the pebbles at Jamra Uqba from the bottom of the valley," from Shubah, through the same chain.
