Someone said, "Abu Abdul-Rahman, I see you walking between Safa and Marwa while the people are running."He replied, "If I walk, I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ walk, and if I run, I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ run. I am an old man."

بين الصفا والمروة يا أبا عبد الرحمن إني أراك تمشي والناس يسعون قال إن أمش فقد رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يمشي وإن أسع فقد رأيت رسول الله ﷺ يسعى وأنا شيخ كبير
[Hasan]. Tirmidhi in Hajj, chapter on what has been said about the saee between Safa and Marwa, hadith 864, Nasai, hadith 2979, and Ibn Majah, hadith 2988, reported it from the hadith of Ata bin Saaib through this route, and Tirmidhi said, hasan sahih.
