I heard Abdullah bin Abu Awfa narrate this hadith, with the addition, "Then he came to Safa and Marwa and walked between them seven times, then he shaved his head."
حدثنا تميم بن المنتصر أخبرنا إسحق بن يوسف أخبرنا شريك
سمعت عبد الله بن أبي أوفى بهذا الحديث زاد ثم أتى الصفا والمروة فسعى بينهما سبعا ثم حلق رأسه

Takhrij, its chain is daif. Bayhaqi narrated it, 5/102, from the hadith of Abu Dawud, with this wording. Sharik the judge transmitted it using "an" (indicating a possible break in the chain).
