The Prophet ﷺ performed tawaf around the Kabah and went between Safa and Marwa during his Farewell Pilgrimage while mounted on his camel, so that the people could see him, so he would be visible above them, and so they could ask him questions, for the people were crowding around him.

طاف النبي ﷺ في حجة الوداع على راحلته بالبيت وبالصفا والمروة ليراه الناس وليشرف وليسألوه فإن الناس غشوه
