The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Mecca while he was unwell, so he performed the circumambulation on his mount. Each time he came to the corner, he would touch it with a curved staff. When he finished his circumambulation, he made his camel kneel and prayed two units of prayer.
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا خالد بن عبد الله حدثنا يزيد بن أبي زياد عن عكرمة
أن رسول الله ﷺ قدم مكة وهو يشتكي فطاف على راحلته كلما أتى على الركن استلم الركن بمحجن فلما فرغ من طوافه أناخ فصلى ركعتين
