The Prophet ﷺ was asked about what a person in the state of ihram may kill. He replied, "The snake, the scorpion, the mouse, the crow which may be driven away but not killed, the rabid dog, the kite, and any predatory beast that attacks."
حدثنا أحمد بن حنبل حدثنا هشيم حدثنا يزيد بن أبي زياد حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن أبي نعم البجلي
أن النبي ﷺ سئل عما يقتل المحرم قال الحية والعقرب والفويسقة ويرمي الغراب ولا يقتله والكلب العقور والحدأة والسبع العادي
[Its chain is daif]. Tirmidhi narrated it in the book of Hajj, chapter on what has been said about the animals a person in the state of ihram may kill, hadith 838, from the hadith of Hushaym, through this route, and he said, hasan. It is also in Musnad Ahmad, 3/3. Ibn Majah also narrated it, hadith 3089, through the route of Yazid, through this route, and it is daif, as has come up repeatedly before, see hadith 1474.
