She mentioned a number of poor people. Abu Dawud said, others reported it as "or a number from her charity." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "Give and do not count, lest it be counted against you."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا إسمعيل أخبرنا أيوب عن عبد الله بن أبي مليكة
أنها ذكرت عدة من مساكين قال أبو داود وقال غيره أو عدة من صدقة فقال لها رسول الله ﷺ أعطي ولا تحصي فيحصى عليك
[Its chain of transmission is sahih] Ahmad reported it: 6/108, from the hadith of Ibn Abu Mulayka, through him.
