The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is to be no jalab and no janab, and their charity is not to be collected except at their dwellings."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا ابن أبي عدي
عن النبي ﷺ قال لا جلب ولا جنب ولا تؤخذ صدقاتهم إلا في دورهم
Its chain is hasan. Ahmad reported it in his Musnad (2/180, 216) through Muhammad bin Ishaq, from this hadith, and he explicitly stated that he heard it directly. Abdul-Rahman bin Harith corroborated him (Ahmad 2/215), and Ibn Mulaqqin graded it hasan in Tuhfat al-Muhtaj (914).
