Abu Tamima reported,

When we dispatched the caravan, Abu Dawud meaning toward Medina, he said, I used to deliver admonitions after the dawn prayer and then prostrate. Ibn Umar forbade me from doing so, but I did not stop, three times.Then he came back and said, "I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and with Abu Bakr and Umar and Uthman , and they did not prostrate until the sun had risen."

حدثنا أبو تميمة الهجيمي قال

لما بعثنا الركب قال أبو داود يعني إلى المدينة قال كنت أقص بعد صلاة الصبح فأسجد فنهاني ابن عمر فلم أنته ثلاث مرار ثم عاد فقال إني صليت خلف رسول الله ﷺ ومع أبي بكر وعمر وعثمان رضي الله عنهم فلم يسجدوا حتى تطلع الشمس
