When the last ten nights of Ramadan began, the Prophet ﷺ would spend the night in worship, tighten his waist-wrap, and wake his family.
Bukhari narrated it in "The Virtue of Laylat al-Qadr," chapter "Striving in the Last Ten Nights of Ramadan," no. 2024, and Muslim narrated it in "Itikaf," chapter "Striving in the Last Ten Nights of the Month of Ramadan," no. 1174, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, with this same chain.
