Abu Dawud said, Abd Rabbih and Yahya, the two sons of Saeed, narrated this hadith in mursal form, that their grandfather prayed with the Prophet ﷺ, mentioning this same story.
حدثنا حامد بن يحيى البلخي قال قال سفيان كان عطاء بن أبي رباح يحدث بهذا الحديث
أبو داود وروى عبد ربه ويحيى ابنا سعيد هذا الحديث مرسلا أن جدهم صلى مع النبي ﷺ بهذه القصة
