The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever maintains four rakahs before Dhuhr and four after it will be forbidden from the Fire."
حدثنا مؤمل بن الفضل حدثنا محمد بن شعيب عن النعمان عن مكحول عن عنبسة بن أبي سفيان قال قالت
رسول الله ﷺ من حافظ على أربع ركعات قبل الظهر وأربع بعدها حرم على النار
[Hasan]. Nasai narrated it in Qiyam al-Layl, chapter "Ikhtilaf on Ismail bin Abu Khalid," no. 1816, from the hadith of Makhul, with this wording. The hadith has other routes in Tirmidhi, no. 427, 428, and Ibn Majah, no. 1160, and others besides them.
