None of you should give the devil a share of his prayer by always turning only to his right after finishing. I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ turn to his left more often than not.Umarah said, "I came to Medina afterwards and saw that the houses of the Prophet ﷺ were on his left."
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Adhan, Chapter on Turning and Leaving to the Right or Left, hadith 852, from the hadith of Shubah. Muslim narrated it in the Book of the Prayer of Travelers, Chapter on the Permissibility of Leaving Prayer by Turning to the Right or Left, hadith 707, from the hadith of Sulayman Amash, with the same chain.
