The Prophet ﷺ said, "Performing tawaf around the House is like prayer, except that you may speak during it. So whoever speaks during it, let him speak only what is good."
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا جرير عن عطاء بن السائب عن طاوس
أن النبي ﷺ قال الطواف حول البيت مثل الصلاة إلا أنكم تتكلمون فيه فمن تكلم فيه فلا يتكلمن إلا بخير
Sourcing, hasan. Ibn Khuzayma reported it, 4/222, hadith 2739, from the hadith of Jareer bin Abdul-Hameed with this wording, and Ibn Khuzayma and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, hadith 998. This hadith also has another route with Nasai, hadith 2925, and others.
