Tahsib is nothing significant. It was merely a place where the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stopped to rest.
حدثنا ابن أبي عمر حدثنا سفيان عن عمرو بن دينار عن عطاء
ليس التحصيب بشيء إنما هو منزل نزله رسول الله ﷺ
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter of Muhassab, no. 1766, and Muslim, no. 1312, from the hadith of Sufyan bin Uyayna, through this route.
