Abdul-Rahman bin Yamar reported,

A group of people from Najd came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was at Arafah and questioned him. He ordered a crier, who announced, "Hajj is Arafah. Whoever arrives on the night of Jam before the break of Fajr has caught the Hajj. The days of Mina are three, so whoever hurries and leaves in two days has committed no sin, and whoever stays behind has committed no sin."Muhammad said that Yahya added, "He seated a man behind him on his mount, and that man made the announcement."Ibn Abu Umar said that Sufyan bin Uyayna said, "This is the finest hadith that Sufyan Thawri narrated."
