Reported from the Prophet ﷺ. Abdullah bin Malik related that Ibn Umar prayed at Jam, combining the two prayers with a single call to begin the prayer, and he said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do just this in this very place."Muhammad bin Bashshar said that Yahya said, "The correct version is the report of Sufyan."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن إسمعيل بن أبي خالد عن أبي إسحق عن سعيد بن جبير عن ابن عمر عن النبي ﷺ بمثله قال محمد بن بشار قال يحيى والصواب حديث سفيان
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Hajj, chapter on hastening from Arafat to Muzdalifa, etc, hadith: 291/1288, from the hadith of Ismail bin Abu Khalid, through him.
