The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Do you have any of its meat with you?"
حدثنا قتيبة عن مالك عن زيد بن أسلم عن عطاء بن يسار عن أبي قتادة في حمار الوحش مثل حديث أبي النضر غير أن في
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال هل معكم من لحمه شيء
[Sahih] Agreed upon. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj, Chapter on the Prohibition of Hunting Land Game Suitable for Eating, etc., hadith no. 1196, from Qutayba, and Bukhari, hadith no. 5491, from the hadith of Malik through him, and it is found in Muwatta, 1/351 (Yahya).
