The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married Maymunah while he was not in the state of ihram, and he consummated the marriage with her while he was not in the state of ihram. I was the messenger between the two of them.

تزوج رسول الله ﷺ ميمونة وهو حلال وبنى بها وهو حلال وكنت أنا الرسول فيما بينهما
