The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about performing ablution after eating camel meat. He said, "Perform ablution after eating it."He was asked about performing ablution after eating sheep meat. He said, "Do not perform ablution after eating it."

سئل رسول الله ﷺ عن الوضوء من لحوم الإبل فقال توضئوا منها وسئل عن الوضوء من لحوم الغنم فقال لا تتوضئوا منها
[Its isnad is sahih] It was also related by Abu Dawud in the Book of Purification, chapter on wudu after eating camel meat, no. 184, and Ibn Majah, no. 494, from the hadith of Abu Muawiya Dareer, narrating it the same way. Amash explicitly stated that he heard it directly, as recorded by Tayalisi, nos. 734 and 735. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 23, as did Ibn Hibban, no. 215, and Ibn Jarud, no. 26. It has a corroborating narration in Muslim, no. 360, and elsewhere.There is also a report on this subject from Jabir bin Samura [Muslim, no. 360] and Usayd bin Hudayr [Ahmad, 4/352].
