The Prophet ﷺ said, "When those who have broken their fast eat in the presence of one who is fasting, the angels send blessings upon him."
حدثنا علي بن حجر أخبرنا شريك عن حبيب بن زيد
عن النبي ﷺ قال الصائم إذا أكل عنده المفاطير صلت عليه الملائكة
[Hasan]. Ibn Majah also narrated it in the Book of Fasting, chapter on the fasting person when food is eaten in his presence, no. 1748, from the hadith of Habib bin Zayd, with the same wording. Ibn Khuzayma declared it sahih, no. 2138, 2139, as did Ibn Hibban, no. 953.
