the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about paying his zakat in advance before it was due, and he granted him permission to do so.

رسول الله ﷺ في تعجيل صدقته قبل أن تحل فرخص له في ذلك
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Zakat, chapter on paying zakat in advance, no. 1624, and Ibn Majah, no. 1795, both from the hadith of Saeed bin Mansur through this route. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, no. 2331, as did Hakim, 3/332, and Dhahabi. The hadith has many corroborating narrations, including the one that follows. Hakam bin Uyayna is a mudallis and he narrated with an ambiguous form of transmission (an'ana).
